Art Direction
Since 2020, Mehdi Sefrioui started expressing his vision in cultural and artistic projects. Using a rare set of skills and network, he has accomplished various high standards projects in curation, art direction and artistic consulting.
AIAE
Ai Art Exhibition is the first of its kind in Morocco. Created by Ofoto Fine Art Lab, in collaboration with American Arts Center and Insititut Français Casablanca, with the support of the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication. It presents for the first time in Casablanca, 15 artists working with Artificial Intelligence. Mehdi Sefrioui is showing pieces from "the future that was" series as well as being co-curator of the exhibition with Hamid Lakhdar, creator and productor of AIAE.
TAFUST
Tafust is an inter-disciplinary Moroccan magazine imagined by Mehdi Sefrioui to be out in 2024. Its purpose and vision are to imagine a new way of communication and collaboration between artistic and scientific fields but also between print and digital media. This new platform is a carte blanche for scientfic researches, artistic creativity and their fruitfull dialogues.
reflexion
"reflexion" is a collective photography exhibition curated by Mehdi Sefrioui for the Spanish Embassy in Morocco and Instituto Cervantes Tanger in 2022. With guest photographers Imane Djamil, Hicham Gardaf, Ziad Naitadi, Fatimazohra Serri and Ismail Zaidi.
Fairmont Palais Tazi
A global artistic curation project presented and managed by art consultant Mehdi Sefrioui. Offering a large catalog of local artists to the new luxury palace in Tangier. 17 artists and more than 300 artworks sold.
